Membership

We have both men and women; young people and some not-so-young. Members come from all over the Panhandle area; more than a third of us live outside Amarillo.? We have members that have published a great deal of work, and those who are just looking to get started.

Our members write mysteries and romances... investigative magazine articles, newspaper columns and nostalgia... limericks, sonnets and cowboy poetry... short stories and song lyrics... brochures and video scripts. And much more.

The requirement for becoming a member of PPW is simple: you must be actively writing, whether or not you have been published. Membership applications are available at meetings.? Or click here for online application form

Meetings are on the third Saturday of January, March, May, July, September and November. Usually the schedule calls for a morning workshop followed by lunch, a short business meeting, and a speaker.

Annual dues are $30, renewable January 1.
